The chapter editor
In Buzzsprout you can type timecodes, accept AI suggestions, or click and drag chapters on a waveform. The editor only places chapters on whole seconds, so a chapter can start a moment late and cut off its first word.
PodChapters gives you a waveform editor with several ways to place chapters and timing to the millisecond. Buzzsprout adds chapters to a hosting product, and PodChapters is built around them.
AI chapters
Both tools suggest chapters with AI. Buzzsprout's suggestions need the Cohost AI add-on and only work inside its hosting. PodChapters can also take your show notes or episode outline and turn it into timed chapters, and you can keep refining the AI's suggestions until they're right.

Working with any host
